Edited to note this policy should be good for all Arizona Albertson’s stores, but possibly also applicable at other Albertson’s LLC stores (Albertson’s LLC acquired stores in Northern California, Colorado, Utah, Nebraska, South Dakota, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Florida in 2006).
Manufacturer Coupons: Coupons issued by the manufacturer containing: “terms of agreement”, face value, expiration date, and verbiage “manufacturer coupon.” They have handling instructions printed on them.
Most manufacturer coupons have barcodes on them and can be scanned. Any coupons that do not scan or do not have barcodes should be checked for validity of expiration date and purchase requirements.
Coupons must have a “Send to” or “Mail to” address for redemption.
Coupons must be redeemed for the amount specified, and only at the time of purchase of the specific item.
Coupons may not be expired.
If the value of the coupon is equal to the retail of the product, we will still accept it, as long as it is not greater than the retail.
Copies of Manufacturer Coupons are not allowed.
Coupon value cannot be altered in any way for any reason.
Store Coupons: Company’s discount offers in various forms of media including, but not limited to, print, electronic, newspaper, direct mailers, kiosks and Company websites.
Store coupons may also contain the words “redeemable only at Albertson’s”
When redeeming a store coupon the terms printed on the coupon must be adhered to.
Store Coupons are run in our ad weekly/monthly or direct mailed and they give the customer a reduced price for the item.
Store Coupons must be redeemed for the amount specified and only by purchasing the qualified items.
One Store Coupon per item.
One customer per Store Coupon. Store Coupons are not intended to be recycled or reused by anyone.
We are able to accept 1 manufacturer coupon and 1 store coupon per like item. For example, if a customer has 10 bottles of Heinz ketchup and 10 manufacturer coupons for Heinz ketchup then they could also use 10 competitor coupons for Heinz ketchup.
This is the same for dollars off the order. The customer can only use one competitor coupon for dollars off per transaction and the order total must be greater than the coupon amount.
Catalina Checkout Coupons/Rebates: Catalina is a third party vendor that partners with vendors and Albertson’s to offer both manufacturer coupons and Albertson’s in-store coupons. Purchasing qualified items at checkout, which generate a coupon to print on the Catalina printer, triggers the coupons.
It is Albertson’s’ policy that these coupons are to be used in a future purchase, not within the purchase in which they are generated.
Catalina coupons can only be given to the customer for whom they were intended (not to any other customer or associate). If a customer does not want their Catalina coupons, it is Albertson’s’ policy that the cashier destroys them immediately.
Catalina may be contacted at 1-888-826-8766 for any questions about redemption and\or if a coupon fails to print within a transaction.
We will NOT accept competitor Catalina coupons.
Internet Coupons: Internet coupons printed from an authorized website must clearly state “Internet Coupon” on the top, valid Internet coupons are redeemable only with a qualifying purchase.
Internet Coupons for cents off or offers of “FREE” with a purchase are acceptable.
The amount of an Internet coupon is not to exceed $2.00.
If the value of the coupon is equal to the retail of the product, we will still accept it, as long as it is not greater than the retail.
Internet Coupons that offer FREE product without a qualifying purchase are unacceptable.
Internet Coupons typically are labeled as “Manufacture Internet Coupon” and contain an expiration date or may state “No Expiration Date”.
Coupons must include a “Send to” or Mail to” address for redemption.
One customer per Internet Coupon. Internet Coupons are not intended to be recycled and reused by anyone.
Reminder:
Albertson’s reserves the right to refuse any coupon(s) that does not meet our company guidelines. We do not accept fraudulently produced coupon offers including those altered or produced through use of a personal computer or copier.
Most Internet sites will print a time and date stamp on the coupons, and limit each ISP address to two coupons total. If multiple coupons have the same time and date stamps this could be an indicator the coupon was photocopied, and should not be accepted.
Competitor Coupons will not be accepted unless it there is a marketing promotion and/or through our weekly ad.
Competitor Coupons for Prescription transfers will be handled through the Pharmacy per the current direction of the Corporate Pharmacy team and can only be redeemed following exactly what the coupon states.

CVS Coupon Policy
There is a new and updated CVS policy that was recently released. Make sure you PRINT this and keep it in your binder.
The use of ExtraBucks®, CVS/pharmacy and third-party manufacturer coupons is
accepted in our retail stores in accordance with the following guidelines.
General guidelines to further understand the application of CVS/pharmacy coupons
(ExtraBucks and ExtraCare® Coupons) and third-party manufacturer coupons:
• CVS/pharmacy does not accept expired coupons.
• Coupons and their face value cannot be exchanged for cash or gift cards.
• Competitor coupons are not accepted at CVS/pharmacy.
• CVS/pharmacy does not accept coupons for items not carried in our stores.
• CVS/pharmacy does not currently accept coupon bar code images displayed on
a smartphone, iPhone, Droid etc.
• The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction.
Sales tax must be paid if required by state law.
• Certain CVS/pharmacy coupons may be subject to state sales tax rules similar to

• CVS/pharmacy will not accept percent off coupons for sale and promotional
items.
• In the event that any item’s price is less than the value of the coupon,
CVS/pharmacy will accept the coupon only to the price of the item.
CVS/pharmacy does not provide cash back in exchange for any coupons.
Multiple Coupons
• CVS/pharmacy accepts one third-party manufacturer coupon and applicable
CVS/pharmacy coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by
either coupon offer.
• The number of third-party manufacturer coupons used in a transaction may not
exceed the number of items in the transaction.
• The coupon amount will be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other
discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item
will result in a $4.99 coupon value).
• CVS/pharmacy accepts multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as
long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers, unless a limit is
specified. Management reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased.
• CVS/pharmacy reserves the right to process coupons in any order.
Internet/Print at Home Coupons
• CVS/pharmacy accepts valid internet/print at home coupons containing a
barcode.
• CVS/pharmacy will not accept reproductions or rebates.

Family Dollar accepts Manufacturer’s and Family Dollar issued coupons
(including internet coupons) that meet these requirements:

Kmart Coupon Policy (straight from Corporate Office)
Kmart’s Print-at-Home Internet Coupon Acceptance Policy. Effective March 1, 2009 Kmart will accept industry-standard, secure print-at-home coupons. This will provide additional benefits and incentives to our customers to help them save their money at Kmart. Due to the continuing shift in utilizing online facilities, allowing the redemption of print at home coupons is becoming a larger more important aspect to the budget wise customer. But there is a significant risk in fraudulent alerted coupons. It is critical that the following guidelines be understood and followed to identify coupons that will not be accepted by the Kmart register operators.
Kmart can only accept print-at-home coupons if they scan properly at checkout. Legitimate printable coupons are delivered using special software designed to print a properly rendered barcode on the coupon and limit the number of coupons printed. If the coupon dos not scan properly it cannot be accepted. Kmart will not accept coupons for more than about 75% of a product’s value. For example, a $2 off coupon for a product that sells for $2.25 is unlikely to be legitimate. If there are exceptions, Kmart is usually provided advance notice by the manufacturer. Coupons will be rejected if they appear distorted or blurry, altered in any way, or are obvious duplicates. Kmart will not accept ” FREE product” (no purchase required) print-at-home coupons. Our goal is that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. An original receipt/email confirmation dated within 90 days of the original date of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges. An original receipt /email confirmation dated within 30 days of the original date of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges of air conditioners, gas powered equipment, and jewelry and watches. It may be necessary to ask for identification for any return transaction. Returns without a receipt /email confirmation will not be accepted.
All returns and exchanges must be in the original packaging and contain all the original accessories. Some items, including music, movies, computer software, video games, and sports/toy collectibles, can not be returned if they have been opened. Safeway Coupon Acceptance Policy (US Only)
Manufacturer and Store Coupons:
1. We will redeem coupons only for the specific items included in our customer's purchase transaction. The redemption value will be as stated on the coupon, unless that value yields a final price for such item less than zero; if application of the redemption value yields a price less than zero, the coupon will be redeemed only for the amount that yields a zero price (our customer cannot net a cash credit or payout from a coupon purchase).

Load to Card Club Coupons:
19. Internet and digital coupons that have been electronically loaded to a Safeway Club Card are automatically redeemed at the time of purchase after the club card number has been entered. All other coupon policies above apply to electronic coupons that are loaded to a club card.
Doubling of Coupons:
20. Check with your local store regarding 'double coupon' advertised promotions where customers will receive double the coupon face value off the regular or club card price up to the advertised limit. Not all locations offer double coupon promotions. Limitations and restrictions for double coupon promotions may change at any time. Changes will be posted in store only.
Coupon Stacking:
21. Safeway does not allow a customer to redeem two or more manufacturer coupons against the same item in a single transaction.
22. Coupon stacking policies for manufacturer coupons apply to paper and electronic coupons that have been loaded to a club card.
23. If a customer presents two coupons for the same item in a single transaction, Safeway will give the highest discount for that item, subject to the terms of the applicable offer and/or coupon.

We do not accept coupons for more than 75% of the products value without advanced notice.
Legitimate PAH coupons will not be for a high value relative to the cost of the item. For example a $2.00 off coupon will be accepted for an item that normally sales for $5.00 or more, but if a $2.00 off printable coupon for a product that sales for $2.25 is unlikely to be legitimated.
Coupons will be rejected if they appear to be copied, blurry, or are obviously duplicated.

Multiple Coupons ·
When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.
· The coupon amount must be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value).
· When purchasing multiple items, Walgreens accepts multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers, unless a limit is specified. Management reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased.
Buy One, Get One Free Coupons ·
When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.
